I developed the branding system to feel fun, imaginative, and instantly recognizable, using a UFO-inspired logo, a purple-led colour palette, custom flavour variations, and a consistent space-age visual language. The project extended far beyond a single logo, including brand guidelines, menu design, food truck graphics, clothing applications, and social media direction, all designed to work together as one cohesive brand system.

Challenges

One of the biggest challenges in this project was creating a brand that felt playful, imaginative, and visually fun without losing structure or consistency. Since AstroShakes was developed as a full identity system rather than just a logo, I had to make sure the same visual language could work across very different applications such as the menu, food truck, clothing, and social media while still feeling like one brand. Another challenge was balancing the soft pastel colour palette and space-inspired theme with practical design needs like readability, logo use, spacing, and making each flavour feel unique without breaking the overall system. In the end, the challenge was building something that looked energetic and creative, but also felt organized, professional, and believable as a real brand.

Results

The final result was a complete and cohesive brand identity that successfully turned AstroShakes into a believable, playful, and visually memorable concept brand. I was able to build a strong system that went beyond just the logo, extending the identity across packaging, menu design, food truck graphics, clothing, and social media while keeping everything consistent through colour, typography, and brand rules. The project was successful because it showed my ability to create a full branding world, not just individual graphics, and to make that world feel clear, engaging, and ready to exist as a real customer-facing brand.
